Rates & Insurance

Session fees are $250 for a 50-minute session. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. If we decide to work together, we can discuss whether a reduced fee is available. Payment is collected at the time of service. I accept Zelle, credit card (including FSA).

I am in-network with Wellfleet, the NYU student health insurance. We will discuss the specific "co-insurance" payment that you are responsible for during your consultation. I am considered an "out-of-network" provider for all other insurances that offer such coverage. I provide monthly superbills to help you maximize your out-of-network insurance benefits.

Many commercial health insurance plans provide reimbursements for a large portion (50-70%) of your out-of-pocket therapy costs, making out-of-network therapy much more affordable. If you'd like to check your coverage, you can call your insurance company and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. When you call, you might ask: Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health? Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, what is it and how much have I met? What is the "maximum reimbursable amount" for psychotherapy (CPT codes 90834 and 90837 for individual therapy)? Is there a limit to the number of reimbursable sessions per calendar year?

You will be charged for missed sessions or appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Note that insurance companies cannot be billed for these misses.
